BRASS THREAD ADAPTOR CONNECTORS REDUCERS Brass thread Adaptors connectors allows a metric (ISO) threaded gland to be terminated in enclosures with different entry thread form (ET, NPT, PG, BSPT and BSP) Generally the connector adaptor is male threaded to B.S.31 (ET) at one end and female threaded (ISO) at the other end to accept a metric cable gland. Thread Reducers effectively reduce the entry thread diameter of enclosures to accept the smaller thread diameter (and often different thread form) of a gland whose dimensions are determined by cable size.
